GOLDEN RAMS HIT THE ROAD IN SEARCH OF WIN NO. 1 ON THE SEASON
• West Chester (0-2) hits the road for the first time in 2024 when the Golden Rams travel across the state to take on Seton Hill University in the second of two crossover contests with a PSAC West opponent. West Chester dropped a 38-28 decision at home last Saturday to California (Pa.).
• West Chester is looking to avoid a 0-3 start for the first time since 2015. That year, the Golden Rams opened up 0-2, but defeated Seton Hill in Week 3 to grab their first win of the season.
• In the process, West Chester will also be looking to hand new head coach Duke Greco his first win in Purple & Gold. No first-year head coach in West Chester history has started their coaching career 0-3.
• Seton Hill (1-2) is coming off a 15-14 victory over Bloomsburg last week. Jake Cruz hit Todd Phillips on a 14-yard touchdown pass with nine seconds left in the game providing the winning score in the final moments of the game.

GOLDEN RAMS vs. SETON HILL ALL-TIME
• West Chester holds a 3-0 advantage all-time against Seton Hill, including that 2015 encounter mentioned above that was the first between the two schools. The Golden Rams also defeated the Griffins in 2018 and again in 2019. West Chester shut out Seton Hill, 29-0, in the most recent battle.
• West Chester won its lone trek out to Greensburg, Pa., back in 2018 by the measure of 59-14. The other two games in the all-time series were played inside Farrell Stadium.

GOLDEN RAMS IN CROSSOVERS vs. THE WESTERN DIVISION
• West Chester shows a 12-7 record in crossover competition with the PSAC West since the format of two contests in Weeks 2 and 3 was adopted in 2014. Saturday's showdown will be the fourth time that the Golden Rams and Griffins have met in those crossovers.

LAST TIME vs. SETON HILL (Sep. 21, 2019 – WEST CHESTER, PA.)
• Kenny Edelin caught a career-high six passes for 104 yards and a touchdown while the defense limited visiting Seton Hill to just 112 yards of total offense in pitching a shutout for West Chester on a hot Saturday afternoon at John A. Farrell Stadium.
• It looked like a day for the defense right off the bat when So., LB Rashon Wiggins teamed up with R-Fr., DT Connor Munnelly for a safety with 1:31 left in the first quarter. That score was set up by Jr., P George Lambritsios pinning the Griffins inside the 1-yard line with a 52-yard punt that was downed on the inch-line by Izaiah McPherson.
• The story of the day belonged to the Golden Rams' defense which allowed Seton Hill just 2.0 yards per play and held a running back, Logan Wiland, who ran for 236 yards in its season opener against East Stroudsburg, to just seven yards on 16 carries.
• Wiggins finished the day with five tackles, including the safety. He registered 3.5 tackles for a loss. Ch'aim Smith led the team with six stops, 2.5 TFL and one sack. He was also credited with a QB hurry. West Chester's defense harassed Seton Hill all afternoon, posting six QB hurries, three sacks and intercepting one pass.

WEST CHESTER - LAST TIME OUT
• California (Pa.) defeated host West Chester, 38-28, in a non-league Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) football contest at John A. Farrell Stadium Saturday afternoon. West Chester could not muster much on offense until the fourth quarter while Cal wore down the Golden Rams defense as the game progressed.
• The Golden Rams scored three touchdowns in the fourth quarter with Cooper Jordan throwing a pair of TD passes.
• Jordan finished the game 20-for-35 with a pair of TD passes and one interception. He was also the team's leading rusher with 45 yards on 12 carries. D'Shaun Seals caught eight passes for 112 yards on 10 targets.

NOBLE AMONG TOP TACKLERS IN DIVISION II
• West Chester R-Jr., LB, Connor Noble (Chester Springs, Pa./Downingtown East) ranks fourth in the country in total tackles with 26. Noble registered 14 tackles in the Golden Rams' season opener against Bentley. He posted a team-best 12 tackles last Saturday against Cal. Noble, an honorable mention Division II All-American by Don Hansen Football Gazette last fall, racked up over 100 tackles in 11 games. He is well on his way to hitting triple digits again this season.

DESMOND'S FUMBLE RECOVERIES
• West Chester Sr., DE, Nate Desmond (Ridley Park, Pa./Ridley) has recovered a fumble in each of the Golden Rams' first two games. With those two recoveries, Desmond is tied for the most fumble recoveries in Division II, along with seven other people, including two from the PSAC.
