WEST CHESTER, Pa.- Zoe Haines (York, Pa./York Suburban) had 15 kills, including the match-winning kill to help lead the West Chester University women's volleyball team (14-3, 4-1) to a 3-2 (20-25, 25-15, 21-25, 25-16, 15-11) victory over Lock Haven (4-12, 2-3) on Saturday afternoon.
It wasn't always easy for the Golden Rams on Saturday as the team found itself trailing at home for the first time this season, not once but twice on Saturday afternoon, but the Purple and Gold remained steady and answered back with victories in the second and fourth sets to eventually win the match in five in front of its alumni day crowd.

CeCe Isenberg (Berwick, Pa./Berwick), who also led West Chester in blocks with six in the five-set win.

Megan Wolfe (Pine Grove, Pa./Pine Grove) contributed three aces.
The first set was back-and-forth early before Lock Haven went on a mid-set run to take an 18-11 lead over the Golden Rams. West Chester mounted a valiant comeback effort and cut the deficit to as few as two (21-19) after a
Julia Kwitchoff (Niagara Falls, N.Y./Niagara Wheatfield) kill, but Lock Haven closed out the set with a 25-20 victory to take an early 1-0 lead.
Trailing at home for the first time this season, West Chester raced out to a 14-8 lead in the second set thanks to a 6-0 run, which included three Brown aces. Lock Haven began a comeback bid, which cut the lead to 21-15 before kills by Wolfe and Isenberg got West Chester within two points of taking the second set. Isenberg picked up two more kills to help West Chester win the second set 25-16 and tie the match at 1-1.
West Chester and Lock Haven traded points to open the third set as the Bald Eagles held a slim 11-9 lead early. Lock Haven expanded on this slim two-point lead to take the third set by a 25-21 final.
West Chester jumped out to a 7-1 lead in the fourth set before earning a 25-16 fourth-set victory after a kill by Brown.
In the fifth set, West Chester and Lock Haven traded points early once again before the Golden Rams closed the set and match on a 4-1 run, punctuated by a Haines kill to hold off the upset-minded Bald Eagles.
