Cooper Jordan Named Co-Offensive Athlete of the Week in the PSAC East

LOCK HAVEN, PA – West Chester University Sr., QB, Cooper Jordan (Downingtown, Pa./Bishop Shanahan) was named the co-offensive athlete of the week in the Eastern Division of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) it was announced Monday afternoon.

It is the second weekly honor bestowed upon Jordan, who was also the offensive athlete of the week in the East back on Sept. 22. It marks the sixth time overall in his four-year career that he has earned this honor.

Jordan went 16-for-22 for 278 yards and three touchdowns without throwing an interception in a 46-44 triple-overtime win against Bloomsburg Saturday afternoon. He also carried the ball 13 times for 53 yards and another TD while converting the game-winning 2-point conversion in the third OT.

All of this in his first game back after missing the last three weeks with an injury. Jordan's 2-yard TD run in the first OT tied the game and sent it into the second overtime. There, his TD pass to Troy Corson once again tied the game and sent it into the third OT. That's where he completed a pass to Matt Iuvara on WCU's opening attempt in the alternating 2-point version of OT.

West Chester hits the road for the final time this coming Saturday when the Golden Rams visit Shippensburg at 1 p.m.
