VILLANOVA, PA – West Chester University senior MLB,
Connor Noble (Chester Springs, Pa./Downingtown East), was a repeat selection on the 2025 PhillySIDA Academic All-Area squad it was announced Friday morning.
Noble is one of 24 student-athletes who comprise one of the most impressive Philly-SIDA Academic All-Area Football Teams to date, as 21 members of the team were named to their respective all-conference teams for the 2025 season including 10 First-Team honorees and a pair of conference players of the year. This year's Academic All-Area Team included nine repeat selections as well as four unanimous picks. Eastern University quarterback, Brett Nabb, was one of four unanimous selections to the team and was named the Performer of the Year in voting by the sports information offices in the Philadelphia metropolitan area.
Noble, who was also a PhillySIDA Academic All-Area honoree in2024, finished 2025 leading the Golden Rams in tackles with 101 stops, including five tackles for a loss, three QB hurries and three pass breakups. He intercepted one pass and forced one fumble on the year as well. Noble ranked fifth in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) in tackles and led the conference in assisted tackles with 68.
A three-year member of the Golden Rams, Noble eclipsed 100 total tackles all three seasons in the purple & gold. He finished his career seventh on the school's all-time tackles list with 324 stops. His 211 solo tackles ranks third all-time at West Chester as well. Noble posted a season-high 16 tackles in a loss to East Stroudsburg and had 12 tackles against Seton Hill. He concluded the 2025 campaign with 11 stops against Assumption.
Noble is a three-time, first team, All-PSAC East selection at linebacker each of the past three years. He was also a finalist for the Cliff Harris Award last fall handed out to the top defensive player at Division II and III. On top of that, Noble was named honorable mention All-America by
Don Hansen Football Gazette each of the past two seasons.
