Casey Vaughan (Springfield, Pa./Springfield).
Sean Szestowicki (Mount Royal, N.J./Kingsway) gave West Chester a 2-1 lead in the third before doubling the lead with a two-RBI single in the fourth, which made it 4-1 in favor of the Golden Rams.

John Dunion (Wilmington, Del./Salesianum) grand slam moments later gave the Golden Rams a commanding 9-1 lead heading into the home fifth.
Charleston scratched across a final run in the home sixth via an RBI single up the middle, but this was close as the DeHaven allowed the Golden Eagles to get in a convincing 9-2 victory.
Charleston used four pitchers in the game one loss, as Landon Ingram (0-1) got the start and allowed two runs on four hits over 2.1 innings while striking out three. Trace Hartman entered in relief and allowed six runs on three hits and a walk over two innings, while striking out a pair.
Vaughan, Bolhouse, and
Caleb Strawhecker (West Grove, Pa./Avon Grove) all registered two hits each in the victory as six Golden Rams notched a hit in the win.
Game Two: WCU 10 UC 2
WP: Kyle Kearns (1-0)
LP: Tyson Willis (0-1)
Kyle Kearns (West Chester, Pa./Rustin) picked up his first win of the season on the mound, pitching four scoreless innings, which saw him scatter just two hits and two walks while striking out four.
Patrick Taney (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill West) and

West Chester got out to an early lead in the nightcap, scoring the first runs of the game on a two-RBI single by
Jake Welsch (Glenmoore, Pa./Downingtown West) in the top of the second before a
Darius Troche (Shillington, Pa./Governor Mifflin) single in the third gave the Golden Rams a 3-0 lead.
Troche stretched the lead to 5-0 with an RBI single down the left-field line in the fifth.
West Chester scored five runs in the sixth inning, thanks to a passed ball, bases-loaded walks, and a two-RBI single by Bolhouse to grab a commanding 10-0 lead.
In the seventh, Charleston scratched across a pair of runs, but it was not nearly enough to pick up a split against the nationally-ranked Golden Rams.
Tyson Willis was one of five pitchers used by Charleston in the loss, as he allowed three runs on five hits and a walk in three innings of work. Mac Crismond pitched the sixth inning for Charleston and was charged with five earned runs after allowing five walks and a pair of hits in his lone inning of work.
