ORLANDO, Fl.- Following a late-night win over Winona State on Monday night, the West Chester University women's tennis team (2-4) picked up its second win in a row, downing Washington College (Md.) by a 4-3 final.
West Chester won the doubles point with a clean sweep as
Delaney Tingle and
Alexandra Cave, along with the Gabriella Lerario Dos Santos/
Felicia Manful pairings, won 6-3, while
Ashleigh Grooms and
Sohana Thompson captured their third doubles match by 6-0 final.
Leading 1-0 heading into singles play, Tingle, Thompson, and Lerario Dos Santos all won their singles matches to lift West Chester to the 4-3 victory.
