LOCK HAVEN, Pa.- The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) released its women's lacrosse Athlete of the Week awards on Tuesday afternoon, and
Keri Barnett (Glenolden, Pa./Archbishop Carroll) was named PSAC East Athlete of the Week for the second time this season.
Barnett scored 11 goals and added four assists over the course of a pair of PSAC East victories for West Chester last week. Barnett started her week with a nine-point (six goals/three assists) effort in the win over No. 13 East Stroudsburg. In addition to leading the team in scoring, Barnett also caused four turnovers and came away with eight draw controls in the victory. On Sunday against Shippensburg, Barnett scored five goals and added an assist for six points while also coming away with three draw controls, two ground balls, and causing one turnover.
West Chester is back in action on Wednesday afternoon vs Millersville beginning at 4 p.m.
