West Chester took its annual Spring Break trip to Florida and faced stiff competition throughout the week, falling to Eckerd, Dallas Baptist, Washington College (Md.), and Division I foe Niagara before returning to Pennsylvania. Brady Burns (Narvon, Pa./Peques Valley) earned the lone point for West Chester vs Dallas Baptist, winning his third singles match by a 6-4, 2-6, 1-0 (10-4) final, while Mateus DeVasconcellos (Weston, Fl./Cypress Bay) earned a fifth singles win vs Washington College by a 6-4, 6-1 final.
Returning North
West Chester will play its first match back in Pennsylvania since October 8 after opening its spring season with four matches in Florida against Eckerd, Dallas Baptist, Washington College (Md.), and Niagara.

Scouting Millersville
Millersville enters play on Saturday 4-4 on the year, including wins in three of its last four after starting its spring with a 5-2 loss to West Virginia State on March 1. The Marauders went to Hilton Head South Carolina last week to face LeTourneau, Hillsdale, and Thomas More and posted a 6-1 victory over LeTourneau, and a 5-2 win over Thomas More, while falling to Hillsdale to halt a two-match winning streak.
In singles play, Jasper De Koning is 8-6 on the year, including a 5-1 mark in third singles, with wins in each of his last three matches and seven of the last 10. Sandor Wulf is 7-7 on the year and 4-2 in fifth singles, with wins in each of his last two, while Sebas Castro and Paul Bagnouls are 4-2 in fourth and sixth singles. Lino Morin is 3-5 in first singles, including his win over Thomas More last week.
In doubles play, Castro and Morin are 4-3 at first doubles, while Bagnouls and de Koning are 3-4 at second doubles with the duo of Wulf and Joel Oetliker going 2-1 in third doubles. Millersville swept doubles play for the first time this season last Friday against Thomas More in South Carolina.
