WEST CHESTER, Pa.- After handing No. 22 Bloomsburg its first non-victory of the 2025 season on Saturday afternoon, the West Chester University women's soccer team (2-1-2, 0-1-2) is ready for its next battle against a nationally ranked foe as No. 17 Kutztown (5-1-0, 3-1-0) visits West Chester on Wednesday afternoon. Still in search of its first PSAC East victory of the year, West Chester salvaged another critical point at Bloomsburg on Saturday but will be looking to improve to 3-0 on Rockwell this season against Kutztown tomorrow at 2 p.m.

Despite only scoring one goal so far this season, Matter leads the team in points with one goal and three assists, which allowed her to break the WCU career assist record, previously held by Sara Oswald.
Kianna Barber (Browns Mills, N.J./BCIT) leads the team in goals with two and is second on the team in points with four.
Grace Keen (Lincoln University, Pa./Avon Grove) logged three straight shutouts to open the year, is 2-1-2 in goal with a 0.60 goals-against average and an .880 save percentage with 22 stops in 450 minutes of action.

th in the United Soccer Coaches poll. The Golden Bears will be the Golden Rams' second top-25 foe in as many games as the team battled to a 1-1 draw at Bloomsburg on Saturday afternoon.

West Chester dropped to 31-16-5 all-time against Kutztown a year ago after 0-2-1 vs the Golden Bears, marking the first time since 2012 that West Chester did not record a win over Kutztown at some point during the season.
Scouting Kutztown
Kutztown (5-1, 3-1) went 1-1 last week with a 2-0 loss to Shepherd on Wednesday night before bouncing back with a 2-0 victory over East Stroudsburg on Saturday afternoon. Corinne Morgan scored both goals for Kutztown in the victory, scoring first in the 15
th minute before adding an insurance tally in the 62
nd with a successful PK chance. The Golden Bears finished the game with a 21-8 lead in shots and an 11-4 lead in shots on goal, along with a 9-0 advantage in corner kicks. Morgan O'Donnell was sharp in goal for Kutztown, making four saves to quiet the ESU offense.
Morgan's goals on Saturday were the fourth and fifth of the season as the junior forward leads Kutztown in scoring with five goals and four assists for 14 points on the year. Caroline McDonald is close behind with four goals and two assists for 10 points on the year, while Marua Day leads the team in assists with six. O'Donnell has been excellent in goal for Kutztown, posting a record of 5-1-0 with a 0.86 goals-against average and 17 saves in 526 minutes of work.
