LAST TIME OUT
West Chester (3-1-2, 1-1-2) got back in the win column thanks to Kianna Barber (Browns Mills, N.J./BCIT) , who scored her third goal of the season and third in four games, midway through the second half to lead the West Chester University women's soccer team. West Chester dominated possession throughout the afternoon and, in doing so, ended the game with a 25-5 lead in shots and a 14-1 lead in shots on goal, along with a 4-1 lead in corners.

In goal, Keen was credited with only one save on the stat sheet, but quarterbacked the defense well throughout the day, directing traffic in the midfield and coming off her line to stop some dangerous balls as they came into the box.

FLOCK TALK
Barber leads the team in goals and points with three after scoring a goal in three of the last four games, including the game-winner on Wednesday afternoon. Faith Matter (Middletown, Pa./Middletown) became the WCU career assist leader earlier this season and is second on the team in scoring with one goal and a team-high three assists.

Grace Keen (Lincoln University, PA/Avon Grove) has played well in goal, posting a record of 3-1-2 with a 0.50 goals-against average and four shutouts in six starts. With her fourth shutout of the year on Wednesday, Keen continued her march toward the top-five in career history, moving to three shutouts away from tying Hayley McGee (24; 2019-22) for fifth in team history. With her third win of the season, Keen moved past Shannon Fedyk for sole possession of eighth place in career wins with 29.

SCOUTING THE BALD EAGLES

Lock Haven will be looking to get back in the win column after a loss to Millersville on Wednesday.

Sydney Linus scored to give the Lock Haven women's soccer team an early lead, but Millersville scored two unanswered goals to steal a 2-1 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) victory at Hubert Jack Stadium on Wednesday afternoon. The Lock Haven defense was tested often over the ensuing 35 minutes and held off three Maurader shots on goal; however, Millersville connected for the equalizer in the 42nd minute to knot the score at 1-1 heading into the break. In goal, Megan Miller made a game-high eight saves. Gianna Gamble led The Haven with three shots.

Lock Haven opened its season with a 1-0 win at California (Pa.) and posted a 2-0 win over Mansfield on September 16 in what was counted as a non-league battle against the Mounties, but has struggled outside of this, falling to Shepherd, Kutztown, and Millersville and playing to a 1-1 draw vs East Stroudsburg.

Sydney Linus scored her first goal of the season against Millersville and became one of six Bald Eagles to score a goal so far this season. Bryn Constanzer is the Bald Eagle's leading scorer with one goal and one assist for three points on the season.
