BETHLEHEM, Pa.- The West Chester University men's track and field team continued its strong start to 2026 on Saturday at the Moravian Hounds Indoor Classic held on the campus of Lehigh University inside Rauch Field House.
Andre Jackson-Littlejohn (Royersford, Pa./Spring-Ford) won the 60 meters in 6.90 seconds, setting a new PR, while
Evan McCracken (Johnstown, Pa./Pine-Richland) and Damian Simpson (Easton, Pa./Wilson) were third and fifth in 6.98 and 7.04 seconds, respectively.
Ege Gunyadin (Delran, N.J./Delran) set a new PR of his own in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.65 seconds after setting a new PR in the prelims with a time of 8.67 seconds. This effort was enough for him to finish fourth in both the prelims and finals.
Bishop Lane (Wilmington, Del./Salesianum) won the 400 in 50.63 seconds, while
Xavier Jones (Philadelphia, Pa./Springside Chestnut Hill) set a new PR with an eighth-place finish in 53.15 seconds. Lane was also victorious in the 200 in 22.85 seconds as he led a trio of Golden Rams in the top five with
David Burnshaw (Garnet Valley, Pa./Garnet Valley) and Jones finishing fourth and fifth in 22.98 and 23.30 seconds, respectively.
Aiden Schwartz (Allentown, N.J./Allentown) led West Chester in the mile with a ninth-place finish in 4:32.17.
West Chester wrapped up its day on the track with a third-place finish in the 4x400 relay in 3:32.65.
West Chester got a trio of PRs in the shot put as
Jacob Joslin (West Chester, Pa./West Chester East), Thomas Smith (Wallingford, Pa./Cardinal O'Hara), and Colin Quinney (Garnet Valley, Pa./Garnet Valley) all set PRS with marks of 48 feet 2 ½ inches (14.72m), 46-1 ¼ (14.41m), and 38-11 ¾ (12.18m), respectively. Joslin and Smith finished in the top five in fourth and fifth, respectively.
Xavier Campbell (Carlisle, Pa./Carlisle) led West Chester in the triple jump with an 11
th-place finish and a mark of 41-2 ¼ (12.55m).
Chase Parkinson (West Chester, Pa./Henderson) led West Chester in the long jump with a sixth-place finish and a mark of 22-0 ¼ (6.71m).
Jake Jones (West Chester, Pa./West Chester East) led West Chester in the pole vault with a second-place finish and a mark of 14-5 ¼ (4.40m), while
Seth Tshudy (Phoenixville, Pa./Great Valley) was seventh with a mark of 12-11 ½ (3.95m).
Brodyn Wolfert (Marlton, N.J./Cherokee) finished sixth in the weight throw with a mark of 46-3 ¼ (14.10m), which also served as a new PR.
