Five Things to Know
  1. West Chester takes a brief break from league play on Tuesday for its non-league finale against Wilmington as the Golden Rams look to get back in the win column after a pair of 3-0 losses to East Stroudsburg and Kutztown last week, which dropped the team to 9-13 overall and 1-7 in league action. West Chester returns to league play this weekend with a home matchup against Bloomsburg on Friday before visiting Millersville on Saturday.
  2. Gwen Atkins (Morristown, N.J./Morristown) and CeCe Isenberg (Berwick, Pa./Berwick) are tied for the team lead in kills with 172, while Ada Koksal (Istanbul, Turkey/Terakki) and Bria Stepp (Cranberry Twp, Pa./Seneca Valley) are first and second in assists with 374 and 248. Brooke Forester (Langhorne, Pa./Conwell-Egan) and Elianna Freeman (Jersey Village, Tx./Jersey Village) are tied for the team lead in aces with 26 each. Julia Kwitchoff (Niagara Falls, N.Y./Niagara Wheatfield) leads the team in blocks with 80, while Hailey Atkins (Morristown, N.J./Morristown) is first in digs with 238.
  3. Wilmington enters play on Tuesday at 7-16 overall following a 3-2 loss at Post on Friday after picking up just its third win over October on Tuesday night at Pace by a 3-2 final. Liani Sierra and Chelsea Blaine-Agett are tied for the team lead in kills with 243 and 180, while Sierra also leads the team in assists with 328 to go along with 24 aces and 200 digs. Morgan Daniels leads Wilmington in digs with 351.
  4. Tuesday's match is a break from league play ahead of what looks to be a make-or-break weekend for the Golden Rams in league action against Bloomsburg and Millersville. The Golden Rams, Huskies, and Marauders are the bottom three in the PSAC East standings at 1-7, 1-8, and 0-9, but a pair of wins this weekend could catapult West Chester back into the PSAC Tournament conversation as the top-five teams will qualify for the Tournament this year, with Shippensburg residing in fifth at 5-4 in East play in 2026.
  5. West Chester is 6-4 against Wilmington since September 2007, including a 3-2 victory in Wilmington last October, which halted a three-match losing streak in the series. West Chester is in search of its first home win over the Wildcats since September 2009.
Up Next

West Chester will remain home on Friday to host Bloomsburg, beginning at 6 p.m. Friday night's game will also be a canned food drive for the Golden Rams, as West Chester will be collecting non-perishable food items for the West Chester food cupboard.
