Men's Track and Field Competes at Penn State Tune-up

STATE COLLEGE, Pa.- The West Chester University men's track and field squad was back in action on Friday afternoon for the final regular season indoor meet of the year at the Penn State Tune-up.

Brodyn Wolfert (Marlton, N.J./Cherokee) led West Chester in the weight throw with a fifth-place finish and a mark of 49 feet 8 ½ inches (15.15 meters).

Jake Jones (Gibsonia Pa./Pine-Richland) led West Chester in the pole vault with a third-place finish and a mark of 14-1 ¾ (4.30m).

Ronald Leraris (Glen Mills, Pa./Garnet Valley) led West Chester in the long jump with a third-place finish and a mark of 22-0 ¼ (6.71m).

Andre Jackson-Littlejohn (Royersford, Pa./Spring Ford) led West Chester in the 60 with a third-place finish and a mark of 6.84 seconds, while Ege Gunyadin (Delran, N.J./Delran) was fourth in the 60 hurdles in 8.50 seconds.

Xavier Jones (Philadelphia, Pa./Springside Chestnut Hill) led West Chester in the 400 with a 13th-place finish in 51.29 seconds.

David Burnshaw (Garnet Valley, Pa./Garnet Valley) and Bishop Lane (Wilmington, Del./Salesianum) led West Chester in the 200 with eighth and ninth-place finishes in 22.25 and 22.38 seconds.

Xavier Campbell (Carlisle, Pa./Carlisle) led West Chester in the triple jump with a fifth-place finish with a mark of 43-11 ¼ (13.39m).

West Chester wrapped up its day at Penn State with a third-place in 3:17.61.
