STATEN ISLAND, N.Y.- The West Chester University women's track and field team was back in action on Friday night at Ocean Breeze for the Fast Track National Invitational.
Nikolien Bezuidenhout (Garnet Valley, Pa./Garnet Valley) competed in the long jump invitational and finished 10
th with a mark of 16 feet 4 ¾ inches (5.00 meters). Bezuidenhout also competed in the triple jump, finishing fourth with a mark of 37-0 (11.28m).
Gabby Curtis (Harrisburg, Pa./C.D. East) led West Chester in the 60-meter dash with a fifth-place finish in 8.09 seconds.
Abigail Hanneman (Point Pleasant Beach, N.J./Point Pleasant Boro) led West Chester in the 400 with a 12
th-place finish in 59.30 seconds, followed by
Rebekah Burnshaw (Garnet Valley, Pa./Garnet Valley) in 28
th in 1:00.56. Hanneman also led West Chester in the 200 with a 21
st-place finish in 26.42 seconds.
Emma Deyarmin (Leesport, Pa./Schuylkill Valley) led West Chester in the shot put with a 10th-place finish and a mark of 37-6 ¾ (11.45m), while also finishing 10
th in the weight throw with a mark of 45-1 (13.75m).
Izabel Zajac (Auburn, Pa./Blue Mountain) led West Chester in the college division long jump with a 20
th-place finish and a mark of 14-4 (4.37m) before finishing 17
th in the triple jump with a mark of 32-7 ¾ (9.95m).
West Chester wrapped up its day at Ocean Breeze with a seventh-place finish in the 4x400 relay in 4:09.14.

West Chester will stay busy on Valentine's Weekend as the Golden Rams return to Penn for the Widener Indoor Classic, while another contingent will head North to compete at Boston University. Both events are scheduled for Friday, February 13, and Saturday, February 14.
