Box Score ORLANDO, FLA – West Chester University swept the doubles competition to claim the one point. However, Washington College (Md.) captured all six singles matches to come from behind and take the win on Spring Break in Orlando, Florida Wednesday night, 6-1.
The Golden Rams picked up three wins by identical scores of 6-4 to take the doubles point.
Alessandro Melotti (Hollywood, Fl. NSU University School) and
Nick Styliades (Moorestown, N.J. Moorestown) teamed up at first doubles while
Zack Bull (Southwater, Great Britain) and
Juan Pablo Beirana Guzman (Morelia, Mexico) were winners at second doubles.
Thomaz Joly (Indaiatuba, Brazil) and
Ashton Bunch (Kingwood, Texas/University Prep) were also winners at third doubles.
Unfortunately, West Chester dropped all six singles matches the rest of the way.
West Chester returns to action on Friday with a match against Case Western University (Ohio) at 11:30 a.m. in Orlando, Fla.
