WEST CHESTER, PA - West Chester University senior gymnast,
Anna Lacey (Bethlehem, Pa.) was named the Gymnastics East Conference (GEC) Specialist of the Week it was announced Wednesday afternoon.
Lacey continues to shine in her return to competition this season. She delivered another outstanding meet, earning a season-high 9.700 on balance beam and a 9.825 on floor exercise to claim the event title. After being sidelined with an injury for the past two years, Lacey's return to the lineup has been nothing short of remarkable. Her resilience, leadership, and competitive fire have made an immediate impact, helping lead the Golden Rams to a season-high team score of 193.175.
Lacey leads the Golden Rams into the Pink Invitational with Penn, Rutgers and Yale, on Saturday evening inside the Philadelphia Convention Center. Start time is set for 6 p.m.
