CHESTER, Pa.- The West Chester University men's track and field team returned to action this weekend at Widener University for the Paul Donahue Invitational. Following a Bill Butler Invitational crown last weekend, West Chester enjoyed another strong weekend this week with a host of top-five finishes, including victories in the 4x100 and shot put.
In the 100,
Evan McCracken (Johnstown, Pa./Richland) led four Golden Rams in the top-10 with a second-place finish in 10.74 seconds, while
Damian Simpson (Easton, Pa./Wilson) was fourth in 10.83,
Andre Jackson-Littlejohn (Royersford, Pa./Spring Ford) was fifth in 10.84, and
AC Ross (Springfield, Va./West Springfield) was seventh in 10.91 seconds. McCracken also took seventh in the 200 in 21.85 seconds, while Ross was ninth in 21.91.
Jhaven Sims-Pagan (Scranton, Pa./Scranton) led West Chester in the 110 hurdles with a seventh-place finish in 15.27 seconds. Sims-Pagan also led West Chester in the 400 hurdles with an eighth-place finish in 54.65 seconds.
Bishop Lane (Wilmington, Del./Salesianum) led West Chester in the 400 with a 15
th-place finish in 49.22 seconds, while
Jordan Barge (Lititz, Pa./Warwick) paced West Chester in the 800 with a 16
th-place finish in 1:55.87.
Sam Leisenring (Downingtown, Pa./Downingtown West) took 19
th in the 1500 in 4:00.41.
West Chester also won the 4x100 relay in 41.13 seconds.
In field events,
Jake Joslin (West Chester, Pa./East) led West Chester in the discus with an 11
th-place finish and a mark of 130 feet 5 inches (39.75 meters), while
Brodyn Wolfert (Marlton, N.J./Cherokee) led West Chester in the hammer with a mark of 149-3 (45.51m). Joslin also won the shot put with a mark of 51-1 (15.8m).
Collin Niedrowski (Wyomissing, Pa./Wyomissing) was fifth in the javelin with a mark of 177-10 (54.21m), while
Jake Jones (Gibsonia, Pa./Pine-Richland) led West Chester in the pole vault with a mark of 15-9 (4.8m) to finish third, while also setting a new program record in the process.
Chase Parkinson (West Chester, Pa./Henderson) took second in the triple jump with a mark of 45-3 ½ (13.8m).

West Chester will be back in action next week at the Penn Relays and the Shippensburg Paul Kaiser Invitational. Penn Relay action will begin on Thursday, with the Paul Kaiser Invitational beginning on Friday.
