PHILADELPHIA, Pa.- The West Chester University men's track and field team returned to action on Friday at the 130th Penn Relays in the prelims of the 4x400 relay and the javelin to kick off a busy weekend of action ahead of the PSAC Championships next week in Shippensburg.
In the javelin,
Collin Niedrowski (Wyomissing, Pa./Wyomissing) took 15
th with a mark of 185 feet 4 inches (56.48 meters).
Following the lead of the women's 4x400 relay squad, the West Chester men's 4x400 squad of
Terry Dweh (Darby, Pa./Penn Wood), Jordan Barge (Lititz, Pa./Warwick), Jake Jones (Gibsonia, Pa./Pine-Richland), and David Burnshaw (Garnet Valley, Pa./Garnet Valley) qualified for Saturday's Eastern finals in a time of 3 minutes and 16.38 seconds, which was third best in the field in the prelims on Friday night.
West Chester will be back in action tomorrow for the final day of the Penn Relays and the second and final day of the Paul Kaiser Invitational at Shippensburg.
