WEST CHESTER, Pa.- The fourth-ranked West Chester University women's soccer team (5-0-1, 4-0-1) is set to return to action on Wednesday night at No. 22 Kutztown (6-1-1, 4-1-0) at 7 p.m. as the Golden Rams and Golden Bears renew their storied rivalry in 2026.

Five Things to Know
- West Chester got back in the win column in a big way on Saturday afternoon against Mansfield, jumping out to a 3-0 halftime lead en route to a 5-0 victory over the Mountaineers. Jordan Nguyen (Lancaster, Pa./Manheim Central) became the fourth Golden Ram in the last three seasons to record a hat trick after scoring in the 19th, 22nd, and 48th minutes in the 5-0 victory. Lindsey Balmer (Perkasie, Pa./Pennridge) added her first goal of the season in the 27th minute, and Jenna Eichenbaum (West Long Branch, N.J./Shore Regional) scored her first collegiate goal in the 85th minute to finish off the victory.
- In recognition of her hat trick, Nguyen was named the PSAC East Athlete of the Week and now continues to lead the Golden Rams in scoring with five goals and one assist for 11 points on the season. Kianna Barber (Browns Mills, N.J./BCIT) is second in scoring with two goals and two assists for six points, while Abigail Hanemann (Point Pleasant Beach, N.J./Point Pleasant Boro) has two goals and an assist for five points of her own. Grace Keen (Lincoln University, Pa./Avon Grove) improved to 5-0-1 in goal and lowered her goals-against average to 0.38 as she helped West Chester to its fourth shutout of the season.
- Kutztown enters play on Wednesday following a 2-1 loss to Bloomsburg for the Golden Bears' first loss of the season after winning five straight with four shutouts during that span.
- Carley Louey and Corinne Morgan are tied for first on the team in scoring with five goals and three assists for 13points each, while Jenna Piltz has four goals and one assist for nine points. Emma Gonzalez and Giavanna Marciano have also scored four goals each. In goal, Morgan O'Donnell is 4-1-1 with a 1.21 goals-against average in seven starts, while Cassidy Howes is 2-0-0 with a 0.49 goals-against average in four games with one start.
- West Chester improved to 33-16-5 against Kutztown with a sweep of the Golden Bears last season. West Chester started the 2025 season series with a 1-0 win on Rockwell Field before picking up a 2-0 win at Kutztown in late October after going 0-2-1 against Kutztown in 2024.
