COATESVILLE, Pa.- Kyle Tracey (Collegeville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley) started his Golden Ram career with a victory in the 5K at the WCU Season Opener in Coatesville at the Golden Rams' new home course, Plantation Field in Coatesville, on Friday evening.
Tracey was one of a host of Golden Rams to make his collegiate debut and was among the first to traverse the Golden Rams' new home course as West Chester moved its cross country race day home from Unionville to Coatesville for the 2026 season. West Chester also had the chance to welcome back its cross country alumni as Friday night's season opener was designated as Alumni Day for the Golden Rams.
Tonight's race was one of three home meets on the calendar this fall for West Chester, as the Golden Rams will return home on September 26 for the Purple and Gold Open and again on October 10 for the Golden Ram Open.
