Biography

Returning starter along the defensive front for the Golden Rams … will be making the move from nose guard to defensive end this fall ... named second team All-PSAC East a year ago … one of hardest workers on the squad ... strong athlete, who goes hard all of the time ... excellent at tying up offensive lineman as well as coming off the edge to create a pass rush … excellent at shedding tackles and making plays … plugs holes … excellent at making his way into the opposing team’s backfield … disrupts plays before they can develop … crucial to the team’s pass rush efficiency … excellent run-stopper as well … member of AD’s academic honor roll list … three-year letterwinner.

2008: Appeared in and started 10 games … missed a stretch of three straight contests due to injury in the middle of the season … recorded 27 tackles on the year … posted 14 solo stops and 13 assisted stops … recorded one tackle for a loss and half a sack … recovered a fumble … intercepted a pass against Cal in the season opener and returned in three yards … credited with one pass breakup as well … tied for 14th on the team in tackles … recovered a fumble against Southern Connecticut State in the NCAA II Playoffs … posted a season-high six tackles in season opener at Cal … registered five stops against Bloomsburg in regular-season meeting … five solo stops against Cal was a season high … recorded a tackle in every game in which he played except at Delaware.

2007: Appeared in and started all 12 games … registered 28 tackles, placing 13th on the squad in that category … registered 10 solo tackles and 18 assisted stops … also credited with 1.5 tackles for a loss and one sack … registered his lone sack of the season in NCAA II playoff game against Indiana (Pa.) … his 1.5 tackles for a loss both came in final two contests of the year … recovered two fumbles on the season … tied for the team lead in that category … returned one fumble two yards against Edinboro in season opener … jumped on a loose ball at Millersville as well … registered a stop in all but two contests … posted a career-high seven stops in NCAA II playoff contest … also posted a career-best four solo tackles against the Hawks … recorded 16 tackles over his final four games.

2006: Appeared in 12 games as a red-shirt freshman … registered 36 tackles, placing 12th on the squad in that category … registered 20 solo stops and 16 unassisted tackles … also credited with four tackles for a loss, including two sacks (Edinboro, Cheyney)  … recorded 13 of his 36 tackles in the two NCAA playoff games at the end of last season … posted season-high three tackles in two contests (Edinboro, Bryant) … two of his four tackles for a loss came opposite Edinboro.
