Biography

Team co-captain … reigning PSAC East Defensive Player of the Year … first team All-PSAC East … first team Daktronics, Inc., All-Super Region 1 … also named to first team All Super Region 1 by Don Hanson’s Football Gazette … widely considered one of the top linebackers in the conference as well as the region … candidate for the AP Little All-America team … has the ability to elevate his game to the next level … plays at his best in big games … plays the run and the pass equally well … team’s top pass rusher … tracks down quarterbacks and running backs in the backfield with reckless abandon … tremendous athlete … candidate to play on Sunday’s next season … anticipates the play like no other linebacker in the region … difficult to block because of his quickness and footwork … slides off a block extremely well … returning to the inside linebacker position along with teammate T.J. Cascio to form one of the top inside backer tandems in the region … reads a play well and fills the hole … tenacious tackler … thrives on contact … swarms to the ball … played an entire half on a broken foot in 2007 … named an all-leaguer in 2007 despite appearing in only five games before injuring the foot … widely considered to be one of the best linebackers ever to don the purple and gold … that group includes former San Francisco 49ers linebacker Lee Woodall … closing in on the school’s top ten in both career tackles and career unassisted tackles … recorded his 200th career stop in NCAA II playoff loss at Bloomsburg …  three-year letterwinner.

2008: Appeared in and started all 13 games … PSAC East Defensive Player of the Year … first team All-PSAC East … first team Daktronics, Inc., All-Super Region 1 … led the Golden Rams in tackling with 113 tackles and 70 solo stops … ranked second in the conference in tackles (113) and fifth in tackles per game (8.7) … ranked 11th in the PSAC in sacks (4.5) … ranked 10th in the PSAC in tackles for a loss (10.5) … posted a career-high 15 tackles against Shippensburg on homecoming weekend … 13 of those 15 stops were of the solo variety …  posted 14 tackles one week prior against C.W. Post … credited with 10 tackles in win over Cheyney … recorded 12 tackles in NCAA playoff game at Bloomsburg … registered a combined 20 tackles in West Chester’s two playoff contests … twice was named the PSAC East defensive player of the week … led the team in tackles on seven different occasions … reached double figures in tackles five times … posted 13 stops and recorded a sack in regular-season meeting with Bloomsburg that clinched the Eastern Division crown for the Rams … credited with seven tackles, one for a loss, a sack and a QB hurry in the PSAC Championship Game at California (Pa.) … tied his career-high with two interceptions on the season … intercepted a pass in consecutive games at Delaware and against Millersville … registered a sack in three of West Chester’s final four games … went over 200 career tackles in West Chester’s final game of the season at Bloomsburg in the NCAA II playoffs second round.

2007: Appeared in and started all five games before suffering a broken foot against Bloomsburg … still listed fifth on the team in tackles(44), despite only appearing in less than half the contests … named second team All-PSAC East … recorded 3.5 tackles for a loss and one sack … intercepted a pass and had three pass breakups and one QB hurry  to his credit … posted 27 solo stops before getting hurt … registered 10 solo stops at Delaware … also recorded a career-best 13 total tackles opposite Bloomsburg … credited with 21 tackles in his final two games of the season.

2006: Appeared in all 13 games … placed sixth on the team in tackles with 47 … registered 27 solo stops … credited with three tackles for a loss and one sack … tied for second on the squad with two interceptions … also credited with one pass defensed and one QB hurry … forced two fumbles (Millersville, East Stroudsburg) … returned a fumble recovery 20 yards at Kutztown … picked off passes opposite Millersville and Delaware … posted season-high nine tackles opposite Bloomsburg in NCAA playoff loss … credited with six tackles one week earlier at Bryant in NCAAs.
