Biography

Returning starter in the defensive backfield ... has developed into one of the team’s top tacklers … listed at strong safety on the team’s preseason depth chart ... highly regarded member of Golden Rams’ secondary … has a nose for the ball and is always around the action … all-league prospect in the secondary … exciting skill set … reads a play well and has good closing speed … very aggressive … craves contact … began his career on the special teams where he starred for the Golden Rams, before securing his starting spot in the defensive backfield … three-year letterwinner.

2011: Appeared in and started all 11 games ... placed third on the team in tackles with career-high 63 stops ... made a team-high 37 unassisted tackles and 26 assisted stops ... both those numbers were career bests … also intercepted one pass and broke up three others for a total of four passes defensed … recorded five tackles for a loss … recorded a career-high 10 tackles at Shippensburg, including a career-high nine solo stops … also credited with half a tackle for a loss … went six straight weeks with at least six tackles in a game … posted eight tackles on homecoming against Bloomsburg … recorded two tackles for a loss at Cheyney … registered six tackles against Slippery Rock, Cheyney, Kutztown and Millersville … broke up two passes at Delaware … also broke up a pass against SRU.

2010: Appeared in 10 games ... placed seventh on the team in tackles with career-high 43 stops ... made 27 unassisted tackles and 16 assisted stops ... his 27 unassisted tackles ranked second on the Golden Rams ... credited with one tackle for a loss and two pass breakups ... registered a career-high eight tackles against Edinboro ... made four unassisted stops and four more assisted in that game ... also picked up his lone tackle for a loss against the Fighting Scots ... career-best six unassisted tackles came on the road against East Stroudsburg ... credited with five assisted tackles in win over Shippensburg on national television ... credited with pass breakups in back-to-back contests against East Stroudsburg and C.W. Post.

2009: Appeared in 10 games ... registered six tackles … posted five solo stops and one assisted … also forced a fumble and credited with one pass breakup … made an appearance against Lock Haven in season opener ... registered a season-high two tackles … both were solo stops against the Bald Eagles … appeared opposite Delaware and Kutztown early in the season … recorded two tackles, one being solo, at Millersville … recorded one solo tackle and forced a fumble at Shippensburg … recorded one solo tackle and posted a pass breakup against Cheyney.

2008: Red-shirted ... did not appear in a contest.
