Very talented quarterback … served as West Chester’s No. 2 signal-caller after starter Sean McCartney went down in season opener with a broken leg, and Mike Mattei was elevated to starting QB … originally recruited to play football at Temple University, after leading his high school squad to the AAAA state championship his senior year … never did play for the Owls … tremendous potential as a QB in the PSAC … filled in well for the Golden Rams, after taking some time off from football … still learning head coach Bill Zwaan’s Spread Wing-T … has seemed to pick it up very well in a short time … could get on the field in a reserve role this fall … excellent skill-set … 2009 Philadelphia Inquirer high school Player of the Year and first-team all-state … letterwinner.
 
2012: Appeared in five games … did not make a start … saw action against Delaware, Millersville, LIU-Post, Cheyney and Clarion … finished the year 3-for-5 for 30 yards … no touchdowns and no interceptions … carried the ball three times for 30 yards … went 1-for-2 for 4 yards against Delaware … was 2-for-3 for 26 yards against Cheyney … ran the ball twice for 25 yards against Millersville … carried the ball once for five yards at Delaware … did not figure statistically against LIU-Post or Clarion.
