Biography

Team captain in 2007 … preseason Street & Smith All-American, who is the PSAC’s reigning defensive player of the year … one of best linebackers in the region, if not the country … demands an offense’s attention on every single play from scrimmage … fierce competitor with a tireless motor … backbone of the Golden Rams’ defense … occupies inside linebacker position … has started each game since his sophomore season (25 straight starts) … disruptive force both on the pass rush and in the running game … is 98 tackles shy of the school record entering his senior campaign … has led the Golden Rams in stops each of the past three years … with two tackles in 2007 will become just the seventh player in West Chester history to record 300 career tackles … two-time all-league performer … has played in 41 games in his college career, missing just one contest over the past three seasons … has appeared in all seven NCAA II playoff contests during his three-year career ... three-year letterwinner.

2006: Started all 13 games, leading the team in tackles for the third consecutive year … registered a career-high 114 stops … posted 52 solo tackles and assisted on another 62 … intercepted a pass against Cheyney … recorded eight tackles for a loss that resulted in 27 lost yards for opponents … credited with 2.5 sacks … defensed two passes and was credited with two QB hurries … 2006 PSAC defensive player of the year … first team All-PSAC … registered 14 tackles at Kutztown … reached double figures in stops four times … posted 13 tackles at Bryant and 12 hits at Bloomsburg in NCAA playoffs … voted to D2Football.com’s second team All-America squad … named to first team Don Hansen Football Gazette Northeast Region squad … also named to Daktronics Division II All-Northeast Region first team.

2005: Started all 12 games … reached the century mark in tackles with 102 … posted a career-high 68 solo stops … five of those tackles went for a loss … credited with three passes defensed, one interception (Cheyney), one forced fumble (C.W. Post), one blocked kick (Clarion) and one sack (C.W. Post) ... posted a 42-yard interception return and caught a 2-point conversion pass from holder Tyler Downes in route of Cheyney … two points earned were the first two of his career ... recorded 14 stops and four tackles for a loss against C.W. Post in the NCAA II playoffs … posted season-high 15 hits versus Shippensburg, tying the mark for 10th most in a single game in West Chester history ... ranked 20th in Division II in unassisted tackles (5.3 per game) ... All-PSAC East second team ... ECAC Division II first team all-star … reached double figures in stops four times.

2004: Appeared in all 15 games … recorded team-high 82 tackles, 54 of the solo variety … also registered five tackles for a loss and two passes defensed … posted double figures in tackles twice … credited with season-high 12 stops opposite NW Missouri State … listed 11 stops against Mansfield … posted career-high four tackles for a loss against Cheyney … credited with 0.5 sacks versus Glenville State … broke up a pass at Cheyney.
