  • Can be more efficient than creating a separate set of reading notes

How do you Annotate?

  • Summarize key points in your own words
  • Circle key concepts and phrases
  • Write brief comments and questions in the margins
  • Use abbreviations and symbols
  • Highlight/underline sparingly
