Biography

Returning captain to the squad … left-hand hitting third baseman … may wind up back at his natural position of second base, depending on where coaching staff needs him … played all over the infield, and even a little bit in left field, his first year at West Chester … coaching staff is expecting a lot out of him this spring … can play virtually anywhere in the infield … very versatile athlete …has developed into a team leader both on the field and in the clubhouse … will play a very important role with this year’s squad … two-year letterwinner.
 
2012: Appeared in and started 54 games … rapped out a season-high 47 hits  in 171 at bats for the season for a batting average of .275 … knocked in a career high 35 runs … scored 43 runs … ranked fourth on the team in that category … hammered out 12 doubles and hit three home runs … scored two runs against South New Hampshire at the College World Series … was walked 29 times … stole four bases in five attempts … only made six errors with a fielding percentage of .955 … turned 12 double plays from his position at the hot corner … posted a .409 slugging percentage and .394 on-base percentage … went 3-for-15 with a pair of runs scored at the College World Series … knocked in three runs as well … registered a season-high three hits on two separate occasions (W.Va. State and Kutztown in Atlantic Regional) … hit home runs against West Virginia State, Bloomsburg and Kutztown in the Atlantic Regional … tripled at Immaculata … scored a season-high three runs against Shippensburg … posted 10 multiple-hit games … authored a six-game hitting streak.
 
2011: Appeared in 31 games and made 29 starts … batted .223 in 94 at bats … rapped out 21 hits and scored 21 runs … hit five doubles and knocked in 10 runs … walked 14 times … authored a .321 on-base percentage … stole four out of five bases … made just five errors … ended the season on a tear, going 4-for-8 with four runs scored and three RBI in games against Shepherd and Kutztown … posted two hits in a game on six different occasions … posted a pair of RBI three times … went 2-for-5 with two runs scored and four RBI in doubleheader against SW Minnesota State down south … registered a hit in his first four games of the season.
 
2010 (UMBC): Appeared in five games … registered one hit in 10 at bats … recorded an RBI and walked twice … authored .308 on-base percentage.
 
2009 (UMBC): Appeared in 36 games and made 34 starts … hit .255 (28-for-110) with seven doubles, a home run and 12 RBI … scored 18 runs … collected a hit in each of first six games in which he had an at bat … recorded three hits and three runs scored against North Dakota State … registered a pair of doubles and a pair of RBI opposite Hartford … hit his first college home run against Maine … posted three RBI in the contest … recorded six multi-hit games … named to America East honor roll.
