Alyssa comes from the St. Hubert Bambies cheerleading program with 17 years of cheerleading experience. Before high school, she won two UCA National Championships (2018, 2019). Alyssa won the 2023 UCA High School National Championship and placed in the top five at UCA High School Nationals all four years of high school.

She is a two-time UCA All-American (2020, 2021), she won the 2021 PIAA State Championship, placed in the top five at the PIAA State Championships all four years of high school and is a four-time Philadelphia Catholic League Champion.

At the 2024 UCA College National Championship, she placed fourth in the Division I Game Day division. Most recently, she placed in the Top 10 at the 2026 UCA College National Championship in the Division I Traditional division and earned a silver medal in the Division I Game Day division.

Alyssa is the daughter of Jennifer and John Canelli and is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Psychology.
