Biography

A versatile, strong fullback with a great deal of playing experience ... slated as the starter in the backfield entering training camp … filled in for injured Brandon Hargrose last year at the beginning of the season … earned his way onto the playing field quite a bit after proving himself in opener at Edinboro … coaching staff expecting bigger things out of him this year … bounced back nicely after a sophomore slump in 2006 … smaller than many fullbacks, but quick and agile … excellent athlete … possesses some of the best hands out of the backfield ... could possibly see some playing time on the offensive line in a double tight-end set … gives coaching staff a great deal of versatility with his pass-catching ability … effectiveness up front allows for Golden Rams to shift formations without a personnel change … averages almost five yards per carry in his career … three-year letterwinner.

2007: Appeared in all 12 games and drew two starts … sixth on the team in rushing with 111 yards on 24 carries … tied his season high with two rushing TDs … both touchdown runs came against Edinboro … toted the ball seven times for 29 yards in that win over the Scots on opening weekend … carried the ball seven times for 25 yards against St. Joseph’s (Ind.) … his only reception of the year came in NCAA II playoff contest opposite Indiana (Pa.).

2006: Appeared in 10 games and drew four starts … ninth on the team in rushing with 35 yards on eight carries … scored a touchdown opposite Cheyney … all eight of his rushing attempts and all 35 yards on the ground came in his first two appearances … also caught four balls for 41 yards … hauled in two passes for 19 yards against Mansfield … posted one reception for 14 yards against Bloomsburg in regular-season meeting … averaged better than 10 yards per reception.

2005: Appeared in nine games … amassed 186 yards on 37 carries and scored two touchdowns ... averaged 5.0 yards per rush ... posted career-high numbers with 10 carries for 57 yards and a touchdown opposite Cheyney … both TDs came in back-to-back weekends … also scored against Delaware, finishing with 22 yards on five carries … caught only pass of the season for a 15-yard gain in that contest against the Blue Hens … amassed 201 all-purpose yards on the year.
