Okoteh Sackitey is entering his first season as a graduate coach at West Chester University. Sackitey is responsible for assisting with all aspects of the program including recruiting, player development, scouting, and basketball operations.

Sackitey graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2015 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Education. While attending IUP, Sackitey assisted with the IUP women’s basketball team for two seasons. Those IUP teams appeared in the NCAA tournament both years and were ranked as high as No.12 in the nation in the USA Today poll. He was also an assistant varsity boy’s basketball coach at Indiana High School. 

Since graduating, Sackitey has taught in Phoenixville and in Aynor, South Carolina where he gained three years of head coaching experience. Sackitey has helped train college athletes that have declared for the NBA draft with F2 Basketball and has coached AAU for Manzer Basketball Academy in Myrtle Beach, SC. Sackitey’s basketball experience also includes time as a camp-based intern for Philadelphia Youth Basketball.
