Barrett is an experienced college forward, who should have two years of eligibility remaining, after the NCAA rules on his hard-ship waiver from Chestnut Hill College for last winter. The transfer from the Griffins' program appeared in and started seven games a year ago, before getting injured. He averaged 13.1 points per game and 9.9 rebounds per contest at the time. He was an all-conference selection at Northampton Community College where he led the Spartans to an Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (EPAC) championship in 2019. Barrett led Harrisburg High School to a district title and a Mid-Penn championship in 2017 while also garnering Mid-Penn all-star plaudits.

2022-23: Appeared in 29 games with 29 starts…logged 789 minutes, averaging 28.2 minutes per game…scored 309 points, averaging 10.7 points per game…scored season-high 27 at Clarion on 1/14…scored in double figures in 14 of 29 games…scored 20 or more in three of those 13 games…shot 52.4 % (131-of-250) and 62.7 % (47-of-75) from the line…led team in rebounding with 239 rebounds, averaging 8.2 per game…season-high 17 against Millersville on 2/22…registered team-best seven double-doubles on the year, including back-to-back double-doubles vs Shippensburg (1/11) and Clarion (1/14)...also logged 52 assists, 20 blocks, and 21 steals…averaged 1.8 assists per game…season-high six vs Shepherd on 1/23…PSAC East Athlete of the Week once.

2021-22: Appeared in 25 games with three starts including a start in PSAC Quarterfinals at Millersville…logged 333 minutes…averaged 13.3 minutes per game…scored 120 points…averaged 4.8 points per game…scored a season-high 12 on 12/18 vs Cal…shot 49.0 % from the field/61.1 % from the line…ended the season with 107 rebounds…averaging 4.3 rebounds per game…season-high 11 rebounds on 12/14 vs Seton Hill…came away with 19 steals, 16 assists, and 15 blocks…season and career-high six steals vs Shepherd on 2/2.
