Another recruit from Bishop McDevitt High School. He helped the Royal Lancers to a third-place finish in the Catholic League a year ago with a 15-6 overall record, including 11-3 in league play. The Lancers reached the 3A Boy's Championship Tournament as well. Smith was a first-team, All-Catholic League selection, who scored 1,203 points in his high school career. Smith was also named first-team All-State, second team All-City and third-team All-Area.

2023-24: Appeared in 27 games with 26 starts…logged 807 minutes, averaging 29.9 minutes per game…scored 465 points, averaging 17.2 points per game…scored a career-high 31 at Shepherd on 2/7…scored in double figures in 24 of 27 games, including 11 20+ point performances…eclipsed 1,000-point plateau as first Golden Ram to score all 1,000 at WCU with 22 points in a victory over No. 9 California (Pa.)…shot 44.1 % (167-of-379) from the field, while also shooting 36.4 % (71-of-195) from three-point range and 77.9 % (60-of-77) from the free throw line…also corralled 90 rebounds, including a season-high eight at Bloomsburg on 1/31…averaged 3.3 rebounds per game…also logged 54 assists, averaging 2.0 per game along with 32 steals and two blocks…PSAC East Second Team All-Conference selection for the third consecutive year.
