A local product plucked from West Chester East High School, Richardson was a four-year varsity player, including three-year starter, who helped the Vikings to one district and one Ches-Mont title during his high school career. Richardson was a 1,000-point scorer, who was also nominated for Mr. PA Basketball his senior year. The local guard was a three-time All-Ches-Mont and two-time All-Area selection as well.
