Senior Gabby Couture (Pasadena, Md./Chesapeake) finished as the runner-up with an 81 on the individual board to help West Chester University's women's golf squad win the 2014 Millersville Invitational.

Couture recorded 11 pars, 10 fairways, and nine greens as West Chester won by tie-breaker over the host Marauders Saturday afternoon at the Crossgates Golf Club that was a par-72 and played to 5,800 yards.

"She had a very consistent round of golf on Saturday," WCU head coach Doug Hendricks said. "I was impressed with how she managed the golf course, for not having played it before."
