Senior Norman Patten (Warminster, Pa./Council Rock South) excelled at the 2016 PSAC Individual Championships this weekend, reaching the championship match for singles.In the first round, Patten topped his opponent from Millersville, 6-0, 6-1. The senior continued his strong play in the second round, advancing past Edinboro's Mateus Santos 6-4, 6-2. Afterwards, Patten carried that momentum and defeated Mercyhurst’s Joaquin Aguilera (Mer) 4-6, 6-2, (10-6) to reach the final and notch his third win of the tournament. Patten would eventually fall to the No. 1 seed in the tournament in the final. Vitor Albanese of Edinboro won by a score of 6-0, 2-6, (10-8) in the championship match.
