Malik Jackson (Lansdowne, Pa./Penn Wood) posted his first 30-point game of the season in a PSAC victory over host Edinboro Sunday afternoon. The sophomore hit a 3-pointer three minutes into the second half to give the Golden Rams the lead for good. His shot sparked a 23-4 run over the next six minutes to help West Chester claim its third conference win. West Chester dropped a heartbreaker to Slippery Rock the previous day, as Merdic Green tipped in a missed jumper at the buzzer to defeat the Golden Rams, 71-69. Despite the loss, Jackson registered a team-high 19 points to go along with four dishes. Jackson’s stellar performance has slated him as the top scorer in the PSAC at 23.3 points per game. The 30-point game was the third of his young career. Overall, the Lansdowne native accumulated 49 points in a pair of games this weekend.
