Sophomore Jackson Hyland (Avondale, Pa./Kennett) was spectacular in a pair of PSAC East victories for the Golden Rams. On Saturday, Hyland helped knockoff East Stroudsburg, 100- 92, providing 22 of his 27 points in the second half. With 1:59 remaining, Hyland attacked the bucket and completed an and-one to knot the game up at 91 apiece. Moments later he knocked down a three to seal the victory for the Golden Rams. The sophomore helped erase a 19-point lead by the Warriors that afternoon as the Golden Rams went on a 17-1 run to close out the contest. He finished with a double-double in the game, registering 27 points, 11 rebounds and six assists. Earlier in the week, Hyland hit a driving layup that capped an early 10-0 run in the second half and gave the Golden Rams the lead for good against Cheyney on the road. West Chester downed host Cheyney, 87-80. Overall, Hyland finished the week with 36 points, 13 rebounds, seven assists, and a block.
