So., OF Drew Jarmuz (Kennett Square, Pa./Unionville) played a significant role in West Chester’s 5-0 record this week, which includes being a perfect 4-0 in PSAC East play. At the plate, Jarmuz batted .368 (7-19) with a team-high 6 RBIs to go along with a slugging percentage of .684. Of those seven hits, three of which were doubles and one being a leadoff homerun in the top of the ninth on Friday to help down East Stroudsburg in game two. The sophomore showed off his arm in the field in game one as well, being the turning point in a nine inning affair. In the bottom of the ninth, a single by East Stroudsburg brought the game within one but a 7-5-4 play resulted in a game-ending out at second base to preserve a 4-3 victory.
