Jr., LHP Amanda Houck (31-3) Gap, Pa./Pequea Valley) was downright masterful with her performance inside the circle to help West Chester claim its first softball conference title in school history. Houck’s performance landed her most valuable player honors in the tournament. The junior won all four games, surpassing 30 wins on the season to become just the ninth different pitcher in PSAC history to record 30 wins in a single season. Over the course of those four wins, Houck tossed 26 innings and only surrendered four runs during that span. Saturday, she threw a complete-game shutout in the championship game, scattering three hits over six innings while walking two and striking out three.
