Sr. G Porscha Speller (Lancaster, Pa./Lancaster Catholic) performed well this week as she posted team-highs for points in each of two West Chester victories. Speller averaged an impressive 23 points per game along with five rebounds per contest over the course of the two victories this week. For the week Speller shot 56 percent from the field and 57.1 percent from three-point land. Porscha was also lights out from the free throw line as she shot 87.5 percent from the line including 91.7 percent (11-12) opposite Kutztown on Saturday. On Wednesday night Speller led all scorers as she tied her season-high for points with 25 to help West Chester to convincing 82-63 victory over Millersville. Speller also ripped down seven rebounds and came away with a pair of steals in this game.  On Saturday afternoon Speller posted a game-high 21 points along with three rebounds, and two steals to help West Chester to a 93-69 road victory over PSAC East rival Kutztown.  With these two victories West Chester stretches its winning streak to 12 games which is the longest winning streak in Head Coach Kiera Wooden’s tenure and the longest streak since the 2002-03 season.
