Junior wide receiver Mike Washington (Philadelphia, Pa./Frankford) was named West Chester University’s male athlete of the week for his performance in the Golden Rams’ 44-28 victory over Bloomsburg Saturday afternoon.

Washington touched the ball seven times and scored four touchdowns in West Chester’s win. He caught four passes for 134 yards and three touchdowns while also carrying the ball three times for 27 yards and another score. Washington finished with 161 all-purpose yards, including the four touchdowns. Washington was also named the PSAC’s co-offensive player of the week in the Eastern Division.
