BLOOMSBURG, Pa. - West Chester exploded for three goals after halftime to blank host Bloomsburg, 3-0, in a PSAC men's soccer match Wednesday evening.
Matt Aunet and Alex Tobias scored a pair of goals three minutes apart in the 66th and 69th minutes to put the visiting Golden Rams (9-7-3, 4-4-1 PSAC East) in control. Chris Tucci added an insurance tally in the 85th minute to seal the win.
Garrett Santora started and played the first 62 minutes in goal for West Chester to record the win. He made just one save. Justin Johnson came on for the final 28 minutes, recording two saves for the Rams. Dave Leiendecker made seven saves for Bloomsburg in the loss.
West Chester outshot its hosts, 14-5 for the match.
The Golden Rams return home on Saturday to celebrate Senior Day inside Farrell Stadium on the final day of the 2008 season.
