WEST CHESTER, Pa. - Slippery Rock captured three straight sets after dropping the opener to rally for a 3-1 victory over homestanding West Chester in a PSAC crossover volleyball match inside Hollinger Field House Friday night.
West Chester (14-4) was up 16-9 in the fourth set when Slippery Rock (13-6) rallied to take command and close out the match. The Rock won by scores of 23-25, 25-23, 25-21, 25-23.
Megan Musselman recorded 17 kills and Michelle Powers 12 for the Golden Rams. Jacqueline Vivanco posted 24 digs while Kayla Beck notched 17 digs and three service aces. Lisa Yeasted registered 16 digs and 40 assists in the loss.
West Chester will take on nationally ranked California (Pa.) Saturday morning at 10 a.m.
