Mercyhurst Tops West Chester, 3-1

WEST CHESTER, Pa. – Visiting Mercyhurst made it a West Division sweep at the PSAC crossover with a 3-1 victory over host West Chester University in women’s volleyball action Saturday afternoon.

West Chester (14-5) dropped both of its matches on Saturday after falling, 3-2, at the hands of nationally ranked Cal earlier in the day. Michelle Powers had 14 kills and Megan Musselman 12 to lead the Golden Rams’ effort. Lisa Yeasted posted 33 assists and Kayla Beck had 20 digs. Jacqueline Vivanco registered 10 digs.
