TOWSON, Md. - West Chester was shut out on the road at Towson Friday afternoon, 5-0, in a non-league field hockey match.
West Chester (3-4) saw its losing streak hit three straight with the loss. Joelle Zarefoss and Brittany Harding split time in goal for the Golden Rams. The Tigers scored four goals in the first half on Zarefoss, who made just three saves in the first 35 minutes. Harding came on in the second half and made five saves, allowing just one goal.
Towson held an 18-5 advantage in shots and an 11-6 advantage in penalty corners.
