WEST CHESTER, Pa. – Tickets are still available for Saturday's home opener against Lock Haven. Tickets can be purchased by calling 1-610-436-2236, or on game day at the ticket booth in front of Farrell Stadium. Tickets are $10 reserved, $8 for general admission seats and $5 for senior citizens or students with a valid ID. West Chester University students are admitted free with valid school ID. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
On Saturday, parking lot N will open in the morning with directed parking beginning at 11 a.m. The price to park is $3. Fans will no longer be able to save parking spots, and Lot O on the south side of Sturzebecker Health Science Center, along the fence overlooking Farrell Stadium, will be reserved for game day staff, Gold Box members, players, coaches, cheerleaders, marching band members and media attending the game.
That lot will be emptied and gated off Friday evening in preparation for Saturday’s football game.
VIPs and other personnel with Farrell Stadium parking passes will be required to enter the Farrell lot from LOT Q. There will be no entrance to the stadium lot off of South New Street.
Tailgating will be permitted in designated lots surrounding Farrell Stadium and the south campus athletic fields under the following conditions:
1. Alcoholic beverages are not permitted in parking lots, athletic facilities or other areas on campus.
2. The general parking lots will open for tailgating and general parking beginning two hours prior to a contest start-time and tailgating must end 15 minutes prior to a contest start time. At that time (15 minutes prior to start time) all tailgaters must either enter the stadium or leave the premises. No tailgating or loitering in parking lots or outside facilities is permitted once a contest has started, nor at halftime of any contest.
3. Tailgaters and fans will be admitted in the lots on a first-come, first-served basis at a $3 charge per vehicle, per parking space.
4. Vehicles must park in designated spaces and may only use one space per vehicle. Parking across spaces is not permitted.
5. RV’s and trailers may be directed to park in appropriate areas as directed by public safety officers.
6. Cooking may only be done on natural gas or propane grills that are a minimum of two (2) feet above the parking surface and safely away from any combustible materials. Charcoal grills may not be used on any campus property.
7. The parking lot must be kept clean. Please dispose of trash in the receptacles provided in the lot.
8. No excessively loud car stereos or portable radios.
9. No glass container of any type may be used.
10. Anyone found in violation of these or any other University policies will be asked to leave the area.

From Philadelphia
Take Schuylkill Expressway (Rt. 76 West) to Exit 26B. Follow Rt. 202 South for approximately 20 minutes. Take High Street exit to second traffic light at Rosedale Ave. and turn left. Or take West Chester Pike (Rt. 3 West) to Rt. 202 S. by-pass. Follow Rt. 202 S. to High Street exit. Go to second traffic light at Rosedale Ave. and turn left. Follow Rosedale Ave. to the first traffic light and turn left. Farrell Stadium is 3/4 of a mile down on the left-hand side.
From Western Pennsylvania (PA Turnpike)
Take Pennsylvania Turnpike to Exit 23 Downingtown. Follow signs for Rt. 100 South. Route 100 S. will become High St. in the Borough of West Chester. Stay on High St. until you come to Rosedale Ave. where the cornerstone of the University is located and turn right. Follow Rosedale Ave. to the first traffic light and turn left. Farrell Stadium is 3/4 of a mile down on the left-hand side.
From New Jersey Turnpike (North or South)
Take Exit 6 for Pennsylvania Turnpike. Follow Pennsylvania Turnpike West for approximately 35 miles and take Exit 24, Valley Forge. Go about 1/4 mile to second exit, 26A, to Rt. 202 south. Merge left twice on Rt. 202 S. and continue for approximately 20 minutes. Go to second traffic light at Rosedale Ave. and turn left. Follow Rosedale Ave. to the first traffic light and turn left. Farrell Stadium is 3/4 of a mile down on the left-hand side.
From Delaware, Maryland, Washington, and Delaware Memorial Bridge
Take Rt. 95 North through Wilmington to the exit for Rt. 202 N. (Concord Pike). Continue north on 202. (From the intersections of Rts. 1 and 202, it is approximately 7 miles to West Chester.) At the Holiday Inn proceed straight ahead under the overpass, following the signs for Business District, Rt. 322. Continue north on High St. to the second traffic light at Rosedale Ave. and turn left. Follow Rosedale Ave. to the first traffic light and turn left. Farrell Stadium is 3/4 of a mile down on the left-hand side.
From Commodore Barry Bridge (New Jersey)
Coming from either north or south on New Jersey Rt. 295, follow signs for Rt. 322 West. Cross Commodore Barry Bridge and continue on 322 W. to Rt. 1. Turn left on Rt. 1 to Rt. 202 North. Turn right on to Rt. 202 N. and continue for approximately 7 miles. At the Holiday Inn proceed ahead under the overpass, following the signs for the Business District. Continue North on High St. to the second traffic light (Rosedale Ave.) and turn left. Follow Rosedale Ave. to the first traffic light and turn left.
