ITHACA, N.Y. - Alli Aquila won the all-around with a score of 34.60 to lead West Chester University's women's gymnastics team to a third-place finish at the Ithaca College Quad Meet Saturday afternoon in Upstate New York.
Host Ithaca College won the quad meet with a 185.125. SUNY Cortland was second with a 181.800 just ahead of West Chester in third place with a 175.425. Wilson College placed fourth with a 128.775.
Jenna Ciatto earned a pair of seventh-place finishes in the vault and balance beam. Ciatto scored a 9.325 in the vault competition while tying teammate Amber Miller for seventh in the beam with an identical 8.95.
Laura D'Annunzio placed 11th on the uneven bars with a score of 8.775.
West Chester returns home on Super Bowl Sunday for its first home meet of the winter season. Brown University and Southern Connecticut State visit the Sturzebecker HSC Gym for 1 p.m. tri-meet.
