MILLERSVILLE, Pa. - Third-ranked Millersville scored a 2-1 victory over West Chester in a PSAC Eastern Division men's soccer match at Biemesderfer Stadium on a rain-soaked Friday night.
Freshman Garrett Bleiler made eight saves going the distance in goal for West Chester (3-8-2, 1-4-2 PSAC East). However, Millersville (13-1, 7-0) remained unbeaten in league play, holding the Golden Rams scoreless in the second half.
West Chester got a goal from Zach Weaver on a penalty kick just before halftime to cut a 2-0 deficit in half, but could not get the equalizer. It marked his second conversion of a penalty kick this season.
Matt Langione made three saves in the win.
