Game Notes
WEST CHESTER, Pa. - West Chester University hosts East Stroudsburg University on Homecoming weekend at John A. Farrell Stadium Saturday. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m., and gates will open two hours before kick. Spectators are strongly encouraged to arrive early.
West Chester (3-2, 2-0 PSAC East) looks to continue its dominance over the rest of the Eastern Division as East Stroudsburg (4-1, 1-1) comes in search of its first win over the Golden Rams since 2003.
Dan DePalma's 40-yard interception return for a touchdown iced last year's 34-24 victory over ESU for the Golden Rams. It marked the sixth straight win for WCU over its conference rival. The Rams lead the all-time series by a healthy margin of 53-20.
West Chester boasts the nation's fifth-ranked defense, which is eighth in the country against the run. Last week, the Golden Rams held Kutztown to -3 yards rushing. The Bears' Dontay Wilson, who entered the contest second in the league in rushing, mustered just 22 yards on eight carries.
