West Chester, Pa. – Ashley Focht led all players with eight kills as West Chester University breezed past Cheyney, 3-0, in women’s volleyball action Saturday afternoon at Hollinger Field House.
With the win, the Golden Rams improve to 10-7 on the season and 2-5 against the PSAC East. Cheyney (0-9, 0-6 PSAC East) remains in search of their first win of the season.
West Chester was victorious in all three sets by comfortable margins, 25-2, 25-8, and 25-9.
Alyssa Brown had seven kills in 11 attempts for the Golden Rams. Helen Fitzpatrick recorded 13 assists. Lisa Campbell contributed nine digs.
